A substantial number of studies have explored the positive therapeutic effects of companion animals on people who live with a wide range of illnesses and disabilities. Animals, including horses, have long been regarded as natural healers. Working with the horses helps students gain insight as it relates to emotions, communication, relationships, personal healing and inner strength.

Join The Events Committee

Horse Power for Life relies solely on donations to fund the operations of the organization and care/board for the horses. In order to accomplish our mission, we need high-energy individuals to help us with our fundraising efforts.

We are currently forming an Events Committee and looking for individuals who are passionate about our cause and really want to help Horse Power for Life make a difference. Event Committee Member responsibilities include organizing events, selling tables to corporate sponsors, obtaining donated items for silent auctions, and helping with invitations and mailings.
